Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

MoneyQuest Jr. is operated by Impact World Fellowship Inc ("we", "us", "our"). For the personal data we collect through the Service, we act as the data controller. You can reach us at info.impactwf@gmail.com.

2. Children and parental consent

MoneyQuest Jr. is designed for middle-school students and is purchased and set up by a parent, guardian, or teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or authorized school. We do not show ads to students, we do not enable student-to-student chat, and we do not link to bank accounts.

3. Categories of personal data we collect

  • Account data (parent/teacher): name, email address, login credentials.
  • Student profile data: first name or chosen display name, grade level, avatar choices, learning progress, badges, saved goals, mission answers.
  • Support communications: messages you send us.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, log timestamps.
  • Payment-related data: handled by our payment processor Paddle (see section 5). We receive a transaction reference and subscription status, not full card details.

4. Why we use personal data and our legal basis

  • Provide the Service — account creation, progress tracking, parent/teacher dashboards. Legal basis: performance of contract.
  • Security and fraud prevention — protecting accounts and the platform. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Customer support — responding to your questions. Legal basis: performance of contract / legitimate interests.
  • Product improvement — understanding which missions work, fixing bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Legal compliance — meeting tax, accounting, and other obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • Marketing to parents/teachers — sending occasional product emails (you can unsubscribe at any time). Legal basis: legitimate interests or consent where required.

5. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, handles subscription billing, calculates and remits taxes, issues invoices, and manages refunds. See Paddle's privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the website, database, and authentication.
  • Analytics and error-monitoring providers — to understand product usage and diagnose issues.
  • Email delivery providers — to send transactional and (where applicable) marketing emails.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and lawyers where necessary.
  • Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep account and student-progress data for as long as the account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • request a portable copy of your data;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • complain to your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email info.impactwf@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically within one month).

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk low.

9. International transfers

Personal data may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our service providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g. authentication and session cookies), and, where applicable, analytics cookies to help us improve the product. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

11. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice.
